The original 'Tall boy compact concept car' saw red as the Koreans took over the market with Santro. The brief from Suzuki was simple - 'Our WagonR is a far superior and original tall boy car. The TG, young aspiring individuals, making a life of their own. The objective, the campaign had to communicate 6 stand out product attributes or USPs which made it the best car in it's category.
Interactivity in communication, making a consumer engage with the brand is a the essence of BTL, and that's where we score. For Suzuki WagonR, we put on the best of our thinking caps on. The campaign was an Integrated Communication campaign over a 6 month period across South India taking Cricket as an interactive tool to pull in the TG. The hardware - touch screen multi- media WagonR branded gaming stations. The software - an indigenously developed and created Cricket quiz game. The branding - merchandised WagonR giveaways for participants. The result - brand interaction and communication with over 15,000 TG customers, sales conversion of 15%.
